It’s part of the Centro Cultural theatre complex, right on Avenida Cuauhtémoc, in the mall with the same name. This is were the televiteatros where located, where Televisa staged their productions, until 1985’s earthquake caused the building to collapse.
Nowadays, Centro Cultural has a 2,200 people capacity and features large-format commercial plays, such as musicals like Beauty and the Beast, Mentiras and Si nos dejan. You can also attend international experimental theater performances like Mayumana y Slava’s Snow Show.
