This cultural complex pertains to the UNAM and it’s been in function since 1976. Even though it’s located within the university, events are open to the public. It was launched with the inauguration of Sala Nezahualcóyotl but other venues were gradually added up: Sala Carlos Chávez, Juan Ruiz de Alarcón Theatre, Foro Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, the Centro Universitario de Teatro (CUT), Sala Miguel Covarrubias, Julio Bracho y José Revueltas cinema theaters, the MUAC (University Museum of Contemporary Art).
Their schedule is in charge of UNAM’s Cultural Diffusion Coordination.
