Wynwood’s moving at a bar-a-minute pace these days but the new rooftop spot Astra is a newcomer worth pausing for. The bar is the newest member of Wynwood rooftop spots (a very small club) and—at 10,000-square-feet—offers plenty of room to spread out. Astra is a Greek concept with a retractable roof and seating for more than 350 guests. The spot serves both food and drink. To eat, guests will find dishes such as horiataki (a Greek salad), paidakia (grilled lamb chops) and more Greek options. The bar will serve some signature cocktails as well as boozy Greek specialties like mastika and ouzo. Astra has plans for a weekend brunch, rooftop yoga and more special events in the future.
