Sure, it’s got great views of the sky, but the reason this outdoor oasis of inequity is so popular is because of its elitist ways. Staff may not serve minors under 21 here, but if you’re not Beyoncé, Posh or Becks, you may not get served either: the velvet rope reigns supreme. Consider it a favor if they don’t admit you as cocktails are stratospherically priced.

'Skybar' has 3 separate bars - one in the 'Redroom' with pretty bizarre lighting in the evening. Another in between the pools means you don't have to venture too far from the stereotypical Miami pool party vibe. And another which houses low flung seating and an abundance of tropical plants. Pricey and loud.
Being a hotel guest, getting in was easy. What was disappointing however was the selection of drinks on offer and the plastic glasses. Also, the bar is open to the sky, not in the sky, so avoid rainy nights! :)
