El Tucán debuts a new nightclub concept this Thursday

This week, the Brickell cabaret El Tucán will be rolling out a new look and adding another title to its name: nightclub.

For the last two years, El Tucán has carved a niche for itself in Brickell by being the only venue in the neighborhood (and one of the few in Miami) to specialize in old-school cabaret dinner shows with a Latin flare. But, once the shows ended, the venue noticed something: people weren’t leaving.

So this Thursday, El Tucán (which would now prefer you call it El Tucán Nightclub) will debut its newest form, which includes a renovated space with more room for dancing, an extended 5am closing time and a new late-night dining menu. The venue will now also be open on Thursdays so guests can transition from Marion’s weekly Thursday Soirée dinner party, which happens right next door.

El Tucán’s lauded dinner shows aren’t going anywhere either. The venue will continue to run two shows on Friday and Saturday with a full-service dinner menu (and a new $85 Black Truffle menu).

For the big reveal this Thursday, Miami’s DJ Irie will be spinning. Robbie Rivera has also been announced to play the venue on December 21. If you can't make it this week, El Tucán Nightclub will be open Thursdays from 11pm to 5am and Friday through Saturday from 7:30pm through 5am.
