Frost Science will be debuting a new onsite restaurant on Saturday, September 9, called Food@Science. The culinary concept, open to both museum attendees and the non-ticket-holding public, will focus on a menu of salads, sandwiches, artisan flatbread pizzas and seasonal tacos that range from $4–20. There will be a respectable kid’s menu for the little ones too.

Photos of the space aren’t available yet, but it will be 4,000 square feet and draw inspiration from its origins, paying homage to the nature, science and technology found within Frost Science. A 35-foot-long wood canopy will stretch across an exposed concrete ceiling and the restaurant will have its own 18-foot mural. An accompanying grab-and-go coffee concept—called Coffee@Science—will open alongside the new restaurant, offering pre-made meals similar to the menu at Food@Science. Executive Chef Tony Terho will run the kitchen.

You can find Food@Science at the West Wing of the museum’s ground level. It will be accessible from Museum Park and open daily from 10am—4pm. Coffee@Science will open from 8:30am—5:30pm. And now you have 29 reasons to visit Frost Science
