The Midtown watering hole Bitter Truth has been open just under a year but it’s already expanding across Biscayne Bay. Today, Bitter Truth is opening a new South Beach location—an off-the-path concept that eschews the traditional sign for an old traffic light that hangs over the door (if it’s green, the bar is open).
It might be a bit hard to find at first, but just head to 1766 Bay Road, Miami Beach, and you should see it. And if you're a fan of the unpretentious but carefully crafted cocktails that put the original Bitter Truth on the map, then it'll be worth the effort.
At the new Sunset Harbor location (which takes up the second floor of its building) guests can expect all the signature cocktails first created at the Midtown location alongside special additions—all served in a laidback atmosphere.
Bitter Truth opens Friday and Saturday at 10pm. Just keep an eye out for the green light.
