ME Miami

ME Miami is the first American project from the established Spanish hotel chain Meliá. The hotel is located in Downtown Miami, directly across from Frost Science and within walking distance of the AmericanAirlines Arena. Unlike other Miami hotels that woo guests with gaping lobbies and skyscraping ceilings, ME Miami uses its size more sparingly, preferring tighter hallways, low ceilings and more intimate spaces, like the third-floor Library Bar, where you can grab a drink and snatch one of the gorgeous designer books from the shelf to flip through. The property uses the same philosophy of intimacy with its pool, which is nestled in the center of the 14th-floor deck like a pearl. If you can, book an east-facing room. You’ll be greeted to a pretty sweet sunrise and a dreamy view of Biscayne Bay. The rooms are modern and mostly minimal with pops of flashy art and roomy bath tubs. The building also has permanent residents, so chances are you’ll meet some locals during your stay.
