Opened in 2007 as part of after-hours club Mekka, Discotekka has injected new life into the late-night scene, even enticing clubbers to make the 30-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale. Billed as a club for try-sexuals, Discotekka attracts all types, most of them young, but the vibe is definitely queer, with Latin go-go boys and drag queens getting down amid the nonstop throbbing tunes and glittering disco balls.
