Yes, it’s true. The oh-so-trendy ice cream spot inside 1-800-Lucky will be handing out their famous fish or unicorn cones to the first 100 people who arrive from 2:30pm to 4:30pm on July 31—for free. It’s part of a promotional event for the upcoming film Crazy Rich Asians and apparently “the event will also feature a surprise appearance by the stars of the movie and photo opportunities,” according to a press release.
So mark your calendar, friend. There is hope for the future. And it comes in the form of soft serve matcha ice cream.
