The popular west coast restaurant Malibu Farm will open its first east coast location this Saturday in Miami Beach. The local-minded eatery is moving into the Eden Roc Miami Beach, where it will take over a very pretty space with uninterrupted ocean views that’s making us quite unhappy to be stuck in an office at the moment.

Farm-to-table and local ingredients are the ethos of Malibu Farm, and the restaurant says its Miami Beach location will be no different. There will be no shortage of vegan and veggie options on the menu. This will also be the only Malibu Farm location with a wood-burning pizza oven. Options like cauliflower crust pizza will be mixed in with baked pies dotted with Miami Smokers bacon. Cocktails too will have an emphasis on organic, plant-based ingredients.

For now, Malibu Farm will just serve breakfast (7am to 11am) and lunch (noon to 5pm). The bar will stay open till 7pm and dinner and brunch service are on their way soon. Doors open for the very first time this Saturday, April 28.
