Pitbull will not be the only one opening up an opulent restaurant in Miami this year. Pharrell Williams has thrown his comically large hat into the ring, South Florida Business Journal learned today. Williams will be opening up a restaurant and bar called Swan and Bar Bevy, respectively, in the Design District at 90 NE 39th Street. The 17,000-square-foot space is supposed to open in fall of this year.
Williams tapped Miami’s David Grutman as a partner for the project. Grutman, owner of LIV and Story, is racking up quite the culinary resume. He currently runs Komodo, Planta and fellow Design District resident OTL.
A grand total of zero details have been released about the project thus far so speculate away, Miami! Will there be a drink called Blurred Limes? Will reservations be based on your number of Instagram followers? Will Robin Thicke be a bathroom attendant? Anything is possible!
