Open the nearest window and stick your head outside. Can you smell that, Miami? That’s the smell of Pitbull, and it’s especially ripe today because Mr. 305 is finally debuting up his humongous new Miami Beach restaurant tomorrow night.
That’s right: iLov305, the 9,000-square-foot Pitbull-owned restaurant and lounge, is not only celebrating its grand opening tomorrow (January 15) but the party will also serve as a celebration for Pitbull’s birthday (he’s turning 19—we think—because people that rich age backwards).
There’s a slight catch worth noting: Though the grand opening party is happening tomorrow, the restaurant won’t open for regular business hours until the end of January. The exact date is still to be determined.
But the good news is that tomorrow’s party is open to the public. Guests can RSVP via info@ilov305.com or 305-535-9773
iLov305 opens appropriately at 1060 Ocean Drive and will feature multiple VIP rooms, cigar rollers, a DJ, aerial acts, dancers, a daiquiri bar and a special mojito bar that’ll serve 50 (!) different mojitos. Plates from the kitchen include ceviche, paella, steaks and plenty more over-the-top options. There’s even a dessert called the Mr. Worldwide Chocolate Piñata, which sounds like something you’d come up with after drinking around 50 mojitos.
We could go on but all you really need to know is that this place is going to be bonkers. And if you just love yourself some Pitbull (and mojitos), you might want to check it out. We’ll keep you posted on the restaurant’s official opening date when we find out.
