The Brooklyn pizza pros are leaving the Design District after a six-month run serving some very tasty food. They will return to their native borough on Wednesday, March 21. They Call Me by Your Name-ed us.
It's a tough blow—especially after hearing today that Proof, home to one of the best burgers in Miami, will be closing at the end of the month too. Sometimes life just picks one day to pile it all on.
Maybe Roberta’s will come back to us at some point. Perhaps the universe will allow us to cross paths again. But we can’t live our lives hanging onto a hypothetical. So get in a few more pies while you can, Miami. And after March 21, delete Roberta’s number and move on. There are plenty of other pizzas in Miami—even if this one made us feel warm and happy inside.
