Ah, the Miami Youth Fair, a storied annual tradition that is celebrating its 67th anniversary this March—and kind of the last place you'd expect to find one of the best concert deals in recent Miami memory.
In addition to the actual fair—a not-for-profit event featuring rides, food, games and 600,000 guests over the course of 21 days—the Youth Fair always brings some music to town too. And this year’s lineup is a hilariously random but sort of awesome Tom Haverford-curated Spotify playlist come to life: Ginuwine with the Sugarhill Gang, Gente De Zona, TLC, Nelly and more in a concert series that will run from March 16 to April 7. Tickets for TLC and Ginuwine are as low as $10 right now. The highest ticket price, which goes to Gente De Zona, is still a reasonable $25. All concerts will take place at Tamiami Park (Coral Way & SW 107 Avenue).
Of course there will be all the other bells and whistles that can be expected at the Youth Fair: more than 90 rides, fried everything, animals, a circus and more and more. But, also, TLC! We'll take Chilli over a corn dog any day of the week.
So don’t sleep on the Youth Fair, people. You can grab tickets now for individual concerts or get admission to the whole darn thing.
