There’s a new experiential museum headed to Wynwood

Basically, more photo ops for the neighborhood.

Have you had enough of Wynwood’s iconic walls? Are you sick of the witty quotes spray-painted on the sidewalks? What about the made-you-look stickers plastered on street signs and lamp poles? If you’re feeling uninspired by the artsy neighborhood’s irreverence these days, this new Instgrammable venue might spark some creativity.

Paradox Museum Miami, which opens later this month, features 70 different exhibits designed to trick the eye and confound those to all who enter. It’s fully immersive—because what isn’t these days?—and guests are invited to choose their own adventure as they wander through different math, science and psychology-based experiences testing one’s perception. For instance, there’s the trippy Paradox Tunnel that provides the illusion of movement, forcing participants to trust and let go. Visits are timed and it'll take you about 90 minutes to make your way around the various exhibits.

The whole thing is billed as “edutainment,” a space where each vignette entertains while also teaching visitors something about gravity, perception or—at the very least—taking click-worthy photos. If there's one thing we can discern, Paradox Museum is brimming with Instagrammable backdrops.
