The power is in the hands of the women this Friday at 1306. The Downtown bar will be hosting a No Boys Allowed party and the rules are pretty simple: no boys allowed.
At least, no lone boys or packs of boys will be allowed. Men will still be able to attend the party but they must be accompanied by a lady who RSVP’ed with the “+1 Male” option. Otherwise, you won’t get in. You can (and must) RSVP to this party via noboysallowed.splashthat.com.
This shindig will be a welcome relief to those ladies who are sick and tired of being harangued at the bar by a man named Connor over why The Wire is actually the greatest show in the history of television. Perhaps, for one glorious night, you can hit the dance floor without being surrounded by four dudes wearing H&M button-downs that are three sizes too small. Savor it, ladies. Lord knows you deserve it.
