The Wynwood doughnut shop is celebrating National Doughnut Day with free treats, limited-edition pink pastries and tote bags for early arrivals.

Free food is one of life's great joys. Free doughnuts are even better.
Just in time for National Donut Day on Friday, Voodoo Doughnut is handing out complimentary treats at its Wynwood location on June 5, along with a few extra pink-themed perks for anyone willing to embrace a little sugar-fueled planning.
The Portland-born doughnut chain (well-known for its bright pink boxes and over-the-top creations like the Bacon Maple Bar and Voodoo Doll doughnut) will celebrate the annual holiday with free doughnuts for members of its Fan Club. The catch? You need to be signed up for Voodoo's free Fan Club before June 5.

Members will receive an email with instructions for redeeming a complimentary doughnut of their choice, no purchase necessary. If you're not already a member, signing up is free—and considering the price of basically everything these days, it's probably one of the better returns on investment you'll find all week.
If you hope to score some bonus swag, arriving early may be worth setting an alarm for. The first 100 guests at participating locations will get a free foldable pink box tote bag with a purchase, while supplies last. The chain is also rolling out special pink versions of some fan-favorite doughnuts for the occasion.
In Miami, there's only one place to get in on Voodoo's festivities: the Wynwood shop at 2401 NW 2nd Avenue. But if you’re not in the Magic City on Friday, the promotion is available at most Voodoo Doughnut locations nationwide, though airport locations and the Universal CityWalk shop are excluded.
So if you've been waiting for an excuse to eat a free doughnut before noon on a Friday, congratulations. Your moment has arrived.
