We’re used to having an influx of artists during Miami Art Week but—even with the sharp spike in paint-splattered jeans—we don’t usually catch them hanging off buildings like coconuts.

Yet that’s exactly what folks will see this Thursday at the famous Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Graffiti artist Alec Monopoly will literally be rappeling from the Fontainebleau’s Tresor Tower while he finishes a 50 foot piece of art that will hang at the intersection of Collins Avenue and 44th Street. Anyone passing by on Thursday from 1:30pm to 2pm can watch Monopoly finish the job while he hangs up in the air.

The Tresor Tower piece will be one of two that Monopoly is creating for the hotel in partnership with Tag Heuer. The second piece, which will be completed in a less daring manner, will overlook the pool.
