Brightline is launching a one-time silent disco train to Miami for Ultra Music Festival, complete with a DJ set through headphones and drinks onboard.

If you’re heading to Miami for Ultra Music Festival this year, the party might start well before you reach Bayfront Park.
Brightline has announced a one-time “Silent Disco” train experience designed specifically for festival-goers traveling to Ultra Music Festival on Friday, March 27, essentially turning the ride into a rolling pre-party across South Florida.
The special experience will take place on a southbound train departing West Palm Beach at 2pm, stopping in Boca Raton at 2:24pm and Fort Lauderdale at 2:42pm before arriving at MiamiCentral at 3:20pm—just in time for festival gates to open.
Instead of the usual quiet commute, riders will be handed personal headphones streaming a live DJ set and two curated playlists. The setup creates a classic silent-disco vibe, with everyone dancing to the same beat, but with no music blasting through the train cars.
The experience is part of Brightline’s Premium class offering and comes with upgraded food and drinks onboard. Festival fans can expect beer options, including Peroni and Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%, along with elevated snacks and other beverages throughout the ride. Tickets for the event train start at a flat $89 fare from any South Florida station, according to Brightline. Riders can find the special departure by selecting the train marked with the event icon during booking.
Once the train rolls into MiamiCentral, the festivities continue with a Happy Hour gathering at Central Fare, the food hall and event space located on the station’s second floor, giving Ultra attendees one last stop before making their way to the festival grounds.
The silent disco train is part of Brightline’s broader push to connect travelers with major events across Florida during March, at a time when spring break crowds and large festivals can make for heavy traffic across the state. Ultra itself, one of the world’s largest electronic music events, runs March 27 through March 29 in downtown Miami and draws more than 150,000 fans each year for performances by some of the biggest names in EDM.
Throughout the month, Brightline is also positioning itself as the transportation option for other large Florida events, including the Miami Open tennis tournament (which kicks off tomorrow), the Palm Beach International Boat Show and MLB spring training games in the Palm Beach area.
But for Ultra fans specifically, the silent disco train might be the most on-brand option yet. After all, if you’re headed to one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world, it only makes sense to start dancing before you even arrive.
