One of South Beach's beloved coffee shops has landed at Time Out Market Miami. Before that happened, we tasted the drinks, reviewed the menu and, ultimately, recommended Bebito's for the market. Here’s why:
Restaurateur Jason Odio (Baby Jane, La Otra) and pastry chef Dallas Wynne (Stubborn Seed) thrust the cafecito experience into a much cooler future with this hip, design-forward coffee shop in South Beach. Wynne, who got her start in savory, updates the breakfast tostadas with artisanal bread and toppings that go beyond the traditional butter. Try the almond spread with bananas and local honey from the Native Guy or ubiquitous avocado with fresh cherry tomatoes and a tangy balsamic glaze. For lunch, the chicken vaca frita wrap packs in all the flavors of the traditional Cuban dish in a lighter, handheld sandwich that won’t send you straight to bed.
