Cinco de Chela's at Chela's Cocteleria
Miami Lakes' biggest Cinco de Mayo party turns three this year, and Chela's is not taking the anniversary lightly. The annual outdoor celebration returns May 5 with mariachi performances, DJs Ray the DJ and DJ Barrios spinning from a converted food truck DJ booth complete with lasers, smoke machines and giant speakers, Don Julio margaritas, an Oaxacan Paloma featuring Union Mezcal, filet mignon tacos, churros and an Hora Loca to close out the night properly. Power 96 broadcasts live from the indoor happy hour from 3 to 7pm, where $7 margaritas and $5 tequila shots get things started. The outdoor experience runs on a ticket system, so buying ahead is both cheaper and faster. Indoor seating is first come, first served with bottle service available.Â
