It doesn’t get more authentic than French expats making macarons—namely pastry chef Quentin Garrigou, who, along with his wife, owns both outposts of Janette & Co. At the Coral Gables location, the good baker whips up between 20 and 24 flavors of gluten-free macarons each day, as well as an assortment of croissants and apple turnovers. (Insider tip: Swing by at 10:30am when they’re just out of the oven.) To wash them down? Nespresso coffee drinks and Kusmi tea.
