Time Out says
We are seriously enamored with Love Life Cafe, so we made it official and asked them to be in the Time Out Market Miami. We tasted the food, reviewed the restaurant and, ultimately, recommended Love Life Cafe for a spot at the market. Here’s why:
Because it’s often a bit pricier than your average dish, vegan food is held to a high standard. It makes sense, but many places around Miami are charging a pretty penny for what’s often underwhelming fare. If you have fallen victim to such establishments and now find yourself rolling your eyes at the very mention of cheese-less cheese, we know an antidote: a visit to Love Life Cafe.
The Wynwood spot has been quietly (until we started shout-singing its praises) serving the best vegan food in town at prices that are decidedly un-vegan. Cofounder Veronica Menin is one of the OGs of Miami’s plant-based scene: She has owned a healthy dessert company, established the vegan dinner series Conscious Bite Out and holds multiple degrees in nutrition. Love Life Cafe, though, is her magnum opus. Need proof? Order the veggie burger, cooked to perfection by Menin’s chef and partner, Diego Tosoni. The superfood patty (topped with fresh guac, pickles, plant-based cheddar, kale and cilantro aioli) has blown the minds of many carnivores, and it is, hands down, the best veggie burger in the city and—we’d be willing to bet—the entire state. Love Life has also perfected delicious vegan versions of burritos, hefty arepas and pizza. Plus, the colorful shop’s casual atmosphere just makes it a fun place to hang out. It’s no wonder Love Life is always full of regulars and yogis who have a healthy obsession with this place.
Take note, fellow vegan restaurants: This is how you do it.
