Mark Soyka is a man who can spot a trend. He’s the guy behind South Beach’s News Café, and he was one of the first to stake a claim on Biscayne with this enormous, semi-industrial eaterie. The aesthetic is urban, but the restaurant is comfortable—if noisy. It draws mainly local professionals with unfussy dishes such as lobster ravioli and grilled skirt steak. Potent martinis are served at the bar.
