Time Out says

On January 19, 1977, the unthinkable happened: it snowed in Miami. To commemorate that freezing day in the 305, Kush Hospitality (the folks behind Lokal, Vicky’s House, Kush, the Spillover and more) is throwing Miami’s very first snow parade. On Friday, January 18, everyone is encouraged to bring in their warmest snow attire (which you can then donate to the Miami Rescue Mission to help keep Miami’s homeless population warm) and meet at the milkshake bar Vicky’s House at 6pm. There, you’ll be handed a free hot chocolate and a free Stone Xocoveza Imperial Stout if you want something a tad stronger. Then, the parade shall march a quarter mile to the Spillover. Once at the seafood restaurant, guests will get to sample (once again, for free!) the new bar bites menu and enjoy more complimentary beer. We can’t guarantee more snow but some fun vibes and tasty things are most certainly in the forecast.
