Time Out says

Not that you needed a reason to feast on sweets by some of the best pastry chefs in the city, but here’s one: a socially distanced bake sale for an excellent cause. The Miami edition of Bakers Against Racism—a global initiative to raise money for organizations that support the Black Lives Matter movement—is going down at the Vagabond Motel on June 20 and it’s going to be a dessert lover’s dream. Mrs. Mandolin’s Jessican Hernandez, Mad Lab’s Soraya Kilgore, Stubborn Seed’s Dallas Wynne and so many more local chefs will be on hand selling everything from cookies and cakes to pop tarts.

Can’t decide what to buy? Grab one of the limited box sets filled with at least one item from each of the chefs. While the event is free to attend, you’ll need to purchase tickets at the door to use as currency for the sale. Proceeds from the event will benefit the local chapters of Dream Defenders and the Community Justice Project—which should make you feel infinitely better about the calories you’ll consume.
