On Saturday, August 28, a collection of local chefs, musicians, and event organizers will host a community fundraiser to support earthquake relief efforts in Colombia. The event begins at 4pm with an asado barbeque by chefs Diego Oka, Antonio Pérez, Anthony Verastegui, Cesar Zapata, and Sebastián Vargas. Starting at 7pm, Salsa Z leads a beginner-friendly salsa dance class before a grand prize raffle. Live music and DJs keep the energy high throughout the event. Tickets priced at $70 with 100% of proceeds directed to Colombia’s ProPacífico organization.
