Damon Davis’ exhibition, Darker Gods in The Garden of The Low Hanging Heavens, examines and challenges the West’s perception of blackness through powerful imagery that reimagines religious deities as people of color. The multimedia exhibit mixes sound, photography, film, illustration and written word. The work is on display Wednesday through Sunday, featuring live music and conversations with the artist as well as Dream Defenders cofounder Phil Agnew and Black Lives Matter cofounder Patrisse Cullors-Brignac. 6300 NW 2nd Ave
