Local talent is on display at this weekend’s Indie Underground art and music festival, happening Friday and Saturday, August 28-29, at Churchill’s Pub. A two-night celebration of independent artists, the lineup features a musical hodgepodge of live bands and DJs ranging from psychedelic cumbia to shoegaze to indie rock. Come for the jams, stay for the art installations and the prize raffle benefitting Guitars Over Guns, a local non-profit that offers music education and mentorship to Miami youth. Two-day tickets are priced at $25 for entry before 8pm, or $37 for anytime entry. Ages 21+.
