"Murder on the Orient Express"

Playwright Ken Ludwig, a maestro of farce and other comedic forms, lends a deft and sprightly touch to this adaptation of the signature Agatha Christie whodunit. Mustachioed sleuth Hercule Poirot happens to be onboard the title locomotive when a high-profile passenger is found dead—and all the other riders seem to harbor both motives and alibis.
