New World Symphony’s seasonal, late-night concert series returns with Latin Beats, a rhythmic explosion that features music by Piazzolla and Villa-Lobos, among others—plus a special set by DJ Ella Romand of South Beach’s Do Not On The Furniture. The energetic program mixes tango, electronic beats and salsa, culminating in a world-premiere piece for DJ and orchestra by Sam Hyken—cofounder of Miami’s Nu Deco Ensemble.
