Queen of Basel

August Strindberg’s classic psychodrama Miss Julie receives a modern interpretation in this world-premiere play by Hilary Bettis. Her made-in-Miami version takes place during Art Basel in a luxury hotel, where the owner’s spoiled daughter is forced to confront a refugee fleeing violence in Venezuela with her Afro-Cuban fiancé.
