This new exhibit looks back on 100 years of Miami queer history with memorabilia from long-gone gay bars and fragments from the triumphs and tragedy of queer Miami, a people responsible for the brightest spots of the city’s culture. “We are thrilled to show Miami’s LGBTQ community of today and the journey to this present moment,” says exhibit curator Julio Capó Jr. “It’s an exciting—and most necessary—time to tell these stories.”
