The Album

Eighteen years after their groundbreaking play The Laramie Project investigated the aftermath of a homophobic crime, Moisés Kaufman and the Tectonic Theater Project examine another historical stain. The Album—inspired by the so-called Höcker Album, which contains real-life photographs of Nazi officers enjoying life at a retreat just 20 miles from Auschwitz—aims to explore the human capacity for profound evil.
