The Miami Short Film Festival

Some 1,000 films come across the desks of festival organizers, which are then culled down to the 87 movies on view—so what you’re seeing is the best of the best, from some 20 countries. Highlights of the 16th edition of the Miami Short Film Festival include “Shy Guys,” which marks character actor Fredric Lehne’s directorial debut, and “Terminal,” a film written, directed and produced by famed Peruvian actor Christian Meier. Films are screened nightly at Cinépolis and the Miami Beach Cinematheque.
