Owner Karla Ferguson aims to tell the story of her community, Little Haiti, through the art she showcases. The art of the Yeelen Gallery spans across mediums and voices as it explores contemporary urban culture—never shying away from the political or controversial. The 13,000-square-foot facility has hosted the likes of Michael Sole and James B. Clover, whose “Woke AF” was on display at the gallery during Art Basel Miami Beach 2016.
