University of Wisconsin-Madison professor and artist Helen Lee will present an open source computer software she uses to create letter forms in blown glass rods as seen int he MMAA Project Space exhibition Material Mythologies. She will then demonstrate the process using Foci's facilities and equipment.

About the Exhibition:
Material Mythologies brings together textiles, beading, metal, ceramic, and glass by five artists from around the country, all of whom are working at the edge of contemporary craft and sculpture. The exhibition features works by Sonya Clark (Richmond, VA), Mary Giles (Stillwater, MN), Teri Greeves (Santa Fe, NM), Helen Lee (Madison, WI) and Jae Won Lee (East Lansing, MI). Each artist is an innovator in her chosen medium, infusing her work with fascinating personal and cultural narratives.
