American Swedish Institute says
ASI’s Midsommar Celebration, on Sat. June 17, offers all-day, outdoor fun for folks of every age. As in Sweden, gather to dance around the Midsommar pole, sing Swedish songs and make flower head wreaths. Featured performers include world-class Swedish jazz musician Oskar Stenmark and the Vindonia Trio, plus ASI’s performing clubs, the theater troupe Impossible Salt, Nordic ‘Know-How” and cow calling sessions, and a “crazy cow” community art exhibition. FIKA at the American Swedish Institute will serve Festival food and refreshments, plus a cash bar.

The Midsommar Celebration is FREE for ASI members, as a thank you for your support. So it’s a great time to join!

Otherwise, Midsommar is included with regular museum admission : $10 adult, $7 ages 62+, $5 ages 6-18 & students with ID

Buy your tickets on the day of the event. No discounts or special museum passes accepted. Festival hours (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.) apply to FIKA Cafe' and the The American Swedish Institute Museum Store.
