The Pinch Literary Journal says
The Pinch Literary Journal and Sycamore Review invite you to party with us at AWP. Liquor Lyle's, or is it Lyle's Liquor, is known for cheap drinks and weird locals.

More readers are being pulled from the wood panelling of Lyle's rainbow-light hued walls, but for now we are pleased to feature:

- Mark Wagenaar - 2014 Pinch Literary Award Winner for poetry, among many other recognitions and accomplishments. He lived in Oxford, MS for a month in the summer as a writer in residence for the University of Mississippi, which us Southerners know is no easy feat. His book, Voodoo Inverso, is brilliantly lyrical and won the Felix Polak Prize from the University of Wisconsin Press. He's also just a super nice guy.

- Kendra Atleework is from mountainous climates and now inhabits the flat state of Minnesota, bless her. Her essays appear in Hayden’s Ferry Review, The Pinch Journal, and The Morning News. Currently, she’s working on a book of creative nonfiction about the brazen state of California.

- Sarah Viren is a writer and translator whose work has appeared in the Colorado Review, Fourth Genre, Diagram, and The New Inquiry, among others. She is currently at work on a collection of essays about murder stories. Find out more about Sarah at and Twitter @vurn
