Bad Companions:

Star of stage & screen, Al Subola has previously sung and picked with rockabilly legends, the Vibro Champs, where he was the lead guitarist & primary songwriter. Frenchy has hit the cans for Stockcar Named Desire and Frenchy's Big Band on the Burlesque circuit. Bassist Bill Keefe is also a Vibro Champs vet and even had a brief stint with James Brown's own drummer - Clyde Stubblefield. Dan Gaarder of Roe Family & Trailer Trash fame is talented picker & singer and knows all the classic country songs that you don't! Guitarist Kyle T. often performs with the BCs and has played swing, jazz & shred-rock!

Vernon Dixon:

Vernon Dixon's founder and songwriter is Katy Vernon Thomasberg. She’s known for her writing and singing with The Collective, Felonious Bosch, Tail and Times Beach. Her lead role (Jesus) in a long-running First Avenue concert performance of J.C. Superstar was heralded by critics . She wrote scores for two plays at the Southern Theater and Red Eye Theater ( Andy Warhol goes to Therapy). She's written, produced and recorded ten records and has performed on countless projects. She's toured with Lillith Fair and has been invited and played the Clarksdale Miss. Juke Joint Fest several times gracing the stages of the oldest juke houses in the country. She's warmed up Liz Phair, Louden Wainwright, Jonathan Richmond, Exene Cervenka and Gordon Gano. She also sang back up and managed
All the Pretty Horses, setting up their debut tour to New York, playing CBGB's. She played there prior to the ATPH
tour with the Collective where they also played the Bitter End , CBGB's and the Gallery.

On stage, the band includes talented players such as Pat Mavity (Pistol Whippin’ Party Penguins), Jeff Waldeland (Burning Bridges), Reneé Bracchi (The Blue Up?), David Stenshoel (Radio Rangers, BiL), Alan Subola (Bad Companions, Vibro Champs), and Drew Miller (Boiled In Lead).
