Black Lives Matter Minneapolis says
"I am sick and tired of being sick and tired". - Fannie Lou Hamer

Low wage workers, disproportionate amount of which are black, are standing up and demanding $15/hr, paid sick days, an end to wage theft, and fair scheduling for work. When people of color can't make ends meet at work, it is clear our lives don't matter. In our city, workers WILL be prioritized over corporations, and until they are, we will disrupt business as usual in Minneapolis!

Retail janitors who are member of CTUL work for contracted companies cleaning stores like Macy's, Kohl's, The Home Depot and others have set a deadline of November 10th for the #StrikeforOurLives. Other workers from across Minneapolis and BLM Minneapolis will stand with striking janitors, including retail workers, PCAs, fast food workers, airport workers, bank teller and more.

We'll start at Macy's, then bring our message directly to the council!
