Chocolate BonaVita says
The Ecuadorian rainforest is one of the most biologically diverse spots on earth and the birthplace of the cacao tree. Chocolate Bonavita is hosting this fundraiser on behalf of rainforest preservation in Ecuador. All proceeds from this fundraiser (excluding 'eventbrite' ticket tax) will go directly to grassroots efforts to keep this key area of biodiversity safe and verdant.

Doors open at 5:00PM and the program will begin at 6:15PM. Our celebration will include a guided fine French and Italian chocolate tasting by chocolate curator Anna Bonavita; a virtual presentation on rainforest preservation efforts by Attorney and CUNY, Queens College, Professor of Environmental Law and Policy, Judith Kimerling; treats and non-alcoholic beverages from local sustainable vendors; and comments from the Ecuadorian Consulate.

This event has been organized by Chocolate Bonavita with support from 514 Studios, the Consulate General of Ecuador - Minnesota, Corner Coffee, Slow Food MN, Frank & Ernest Foods, Linden Hills Farmers' Market, Future First, Brave New Workshop Comedy Theatre, MN Pachamama Community. Additional supporters will be noted in further postings on our Facebook site and at the event.
