Join Junket's Artist-in-Residence, Meg Erke - Artist and Educator, for a class in Coptic bookbinding on Sunday, June 5, at the shop from 5-8PM!

Meg will lead you through the process of creating a hand-bound journal (re)using vintage book covers. You'll leave with your very own handmade book, plus the hands-on knowledge required to make them on your own in the future. All materials are included in the price of the class.

Meg is an artist and educator with over a decade of experience, and she loves bookbinding, mixed media painting and teaching budding artists of all ages and abilities. She also teaches free, drop-in classes on Thursday evenings at Junket, focusing on the use of salvaged and repurposed materials.

Class size will be limited to 8 people.

What: A coptic book binding class for up to 8 participants, with each bringing home a handmade journal.

Cost: $60 per person, paid in advance.
