15 Now Minnesota says

Join us as we demand workers' rights and racial equity in Minneapolis.

On April 15th fast food workers across the country will walk out on strike, joined by tens of thousands of other low-wage workers in standing up to their employers to demand $15/hour and union rights. In the Twin Cities, striking fast food workers will be joined by university workers, students, airport workers, retail workers, home healthcare workers, retail janitors, and more in a march from the UofM to the Dinkytown McDonald's. We are calling on employers and city council to ensure all workers in Minneapolis receive a $15/hour minimum wage, paid sick days, fair scheduling and an end to wage theft!

At 4:30 meet at University of Minnesota's Northrop Mall to stand with University workers and students, then we'll march to the Dinkytown McDonald's to stand with fast food workers taking action.

Organized by: CTUL, Neighborhoods Organizing for Change, 15 Now Minnesota, SEIU 284, SLAC, TakeAction MN, MPIRG, AFSCME 3800, Teamsters Local 320.
