Grimm Speed First Friday Meet says
We're delighted to officially announce the inaugural GrimmSpeed First-Friday Meet of 2017! Stop by the GS headquarters from 5-8 on May 5th and get to know some of the staff and customers that make the wheels of the company turn.

No trophies or podiums, this is meant to be a casual gathering of Subaru and Ford enthusiasts, although all car owners are welcome as long as they're respectful of what this get-together is all about. We want people to show off the cars that they've been working hard all winter on, relax and get to know other like-minded people, and strengthen the Twin Cities car community.

As per request, we will be doing two quick tours of the Grimmspeed facility during the meet, one at 5:30, the other at 6:30. This will be a great opportunity to ask GS staff questions and see the company's inner workings, normally closed off to the general public.

Apparel and small items will be available during the show, but we're sticking with cash-sales only, so please plan ahead of time. If you're planning on picking up something larger give us a call during our regular business hours so we can take payment and have the part(s) waiting for you at the show.

There will be a small admission fee of $1 per person, each of which will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of a few GrimmSpeed products at a 7PM drawing. The official space in front of the shop is limited so spots will be first come, first serve. (We suggest entering Taft Street off Broadway instead of Hennepin unless your car is lifted and you've lived a life of no regrets). Cody Helton of Extended Clip Productions will be on site taking pictures of the event so make sure your car is clean and ready for an admiring audience.

Lastly and most importantly, the property owners were kind enough to give us a chance at hosting a gathering like this and if things don't go according to plan this will be our very first and very last event. With that, we will be following a strict code of conduct and not tolerating any sort of negative behavior. In case some need a reminder, here's a short list of things NOT to do:

Unnecessary revving
Arriving in a car that looks like it's been through a demo derby
Racing to and from the show
Bringing/consuming drugs or alcohol

Let's all work to make this a great first-of-many event for GrimmSpeed!
