The event creator says
Minnesota has produced 3 groups that have been accepted into the Chicago Improv Festival!

What's more is HUGE Theater is graciously giving those groups a stage to perform in a celebratory send off show with all proceeds of the show going towards the travel costs of the groups! Wow! We're lucky to have such a supportive and generous theater we can all call home :D

The groups going down to the windy city are:
Collyard / Nelson (Alex Collyard, Cody Nelson, Sami Martin)
Where I Am Now (Gregory Parks)
We Know Each Other (Ellen Q Jaquette, Daniel Jaquette)

Please come celebrate with us and we'll try our best to make this city and this state proud :)

About the groups:

Where I Am Now — Silent comedy, clowning, geekiness, and general goof-offery drive Gregory Parks to strange and charming places. Whether wrangling a ridiculously long thread, chasing vampire children in the park, or playing a multi-level game of hopscotch, words are just scene painting. The best stuff happens without the words.

We Know Each Other

Collyard/Nelson is actually NOT an improv group. They are a highly scripted and rehearsed marketing team of executives (and their intern Sami) from the agency of the same name. They teach an ad seminar about how, if you try hard enough, you can Be Da Best, just like them!
