Immigrant Community Takes Victory! Calls Off Boycott says
Dear community and allies,
Since announcing our call to boycott the Humphrey Mondale dinner on May 26th, 2017 we have received tremendous support from allies and the community. We are thankful for your show of solidarity with the immigrant community in these crucial times.
We are pleased to announce that we are calling off the boycott and picket line of the Humphrey Mondale dinner taking place tomorrow, Saturday June 3rd...

See Full Statement Here:

Immigrant families and their supporters occupied the Governor’s office for 3 days and fasted demanding Governor Dayton veto a hateful bill barring immigrants from getting driver’s licenses. Having heard no response, we must escalate.

If Governor Dayton refuses to veto this bill, our community is calling for a boycott, picket, and people’s festival at the DFL’s Humphrey-Mondale dinner where donors pay up to $50,000 per table.

If you believe no family should live in daily fear of being stopped and deported when dropping their children off at school, join us.

If you believe the age of Donald Trump’s hate and repression, the DFL leadership must take a bold stance against his agenda, join us.

If you believe in the dignity and worth of every family in our state, join us.

Thank you to the following leaders and organizations who have agreed to join our boycott.
Senator Patricia Torres Ray
Representative Raymond Dehn
Representative Ilhan Omar
Representative Susan Allen
Senator Paul Thissen
Representative Carlos Mariani
Representative Karen Clark
Representative Peggy Flannagan
Council Member Alondra Cano
