J C Superstar 20th Anniversary Performance

Returning after a 4-year absence, the all-star hard rockin' J C Superstar ensemble is back on the Mainroom Stage to perform the music of Jesus Christ Superstar (Music by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Tim Rice.) The talent-laden Minnesota cast of 20+ musicians and singers features Jesus, sung by Katy Vernon Thomasberg (of the band Vernon Dixon); Judas, sung by Jay Davis (Billy Club), and Mary Magdalene, sung by Diane Martinson (the Diane Martinson Jazz Trio, Elevation). The 20+ member ensemble is directed by John Hile (Wasteband). The solo parts of Caiaphas, Annas, Simon Zealotes, and King Herod are mixed together with a fiery, rock-solid orchestra and choir, anchored by the rhythm section of Bob Joslyn (Run Westy Run) and J.R.
