New Comic Book Day: Spidey Man says
New Comic Book Day is the Twin Cities’ mightiest and only weekly comic book event, every Wednesday at Day Block Brewing Company (8 pm)!

Each week, we’ll feature a local comic book artist’s wit and works, review the new books that hit the stands that day, meet a superhero or two, bring up a few of the country’s best comedians, and create a safe and welcoming space for anyone who likes comic books or is interested in learning about them to come hang, laugh, and enjoy themselves.

Excelsior, motherfuckers, it’s TOTALLY FREE and always will be!

And on top of that, the HERO INITATIVE - The Hero Initiative creates a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work. Since inception, the Hero Initiative has been fortunate enough to benefit more than 50 creators and their families with over $950,000 worth of much-needed aid, fueled by your contributions! It’s a chance for all of us to give back something to the people who have given us so much enjoyment.

This week:

Creator of the spectacular "Spidy Zine" - Hannah Blumenreich!

With comedians Abby Marose, Henry Fuguitt, and headliner from Stand Up! Records - Adam Quesnell!

And an appearance from Spider-Man himself!
